One example i fund interesting was Brathwaite and his development, the meeting with PSV, the conscious decision not to sign Coady or give Mina a new deal on the basis that it would block Brathwaite. Here we are reaping the benefits, when many would have went the other way.

Was actually a brilliant listen mate, particularly around younger players, there is an age that comes that if a player hasn't had an opportunity at first team football - the chances of them making diminish hugely statistically, explains the likes of Simms and Cannon and bucks the trend of keeping the likes of Penno until retirement. He pulled a fair bit of finance from selling academy lads.
Listened myself...was a good listen.
It’s an interesting juxtaposition with bringing Chermiti in for relatively big money then as he’d only had about 3 appearances for their first team iiirc.
Clearly also feels a 19y/o (20 in May) can have significant room to improve too.
Thats a good point actually mate on Chermiti, he seemed really confident on him and the decision seemed really purposeful- that really intrigues me.
Also we have an "insight department" - haha who knew.....lol
I think he is doing a really good job in difficult circumstances.

He’s not bought many duffers and he’s had nothing to spend. Compare his record to the war crimes committed by Brands and Walsh.
Think he has done a good job but do feel he has left us short some windows not sure if that is him or moshiri in the past. Who has forced players on him, we still need cover at lb and we need a rb. Have been happy with the approach of onana garner chermitti ect
