2024/25 Kevin Thelwell

At a recent meeting he said he speaks to Sean every single day, he did not say about what!

Also said that we are very near the end of sorting out the previous mess, we all know the squad weaknesses, but at present we cannot fix it quickly.
He actually came across very well.

The wage bill is much improved, obviously. The remaining dead weight is obvious to identify but more difficult to move and then replace.

A dark horse doing bits.

PSR Tim a big plus.
Early business for PSR and pre season training a big plus.
Lindstrom has a good shot on him.
Ndiaye the creativity we desperately need.
O'Brien solid and a goal threat from set pieces.
Harrison a sensible loan.

RB always a problem, hopefully youth prevails.
Dom, make him an offer he can't refuse.
CM bring on the youth and play alongside experience, similar to Brianthwaite/ Tarky setup at the back.

Forget inter - premier league loans, always a questionable alligegience and a waste of resources.

Move on Holgate & Maupay as per last year.

Top Priority list:
RW. (with blistering pace)

Stuck between a rock (a penniless club) and a hard place (a prehistoric manager who wouldn't know what a good player was if one bit him on the lip).

All in all, an impossible job.

He's spent a fair bit considering we're penniless. Most of it spunked up the wall.

Mcneil - 80 games; 10 goals
Maupay - 32 games, 1 goal
Danjuma - 20 games, 2 goals
Harrison - 38 games, 4 goals
Beto - 30 games, 3 goals

can certainly spot a dangerous attacker can our Kev

Yet if you look at their goal contributions at other clubs it's better than at Everton.

The only player who had a better season with us goalscoring wise than another club is McNeil and so far that appears to be an anomaly.

Perhaps the problem is the way we play and not just Thelwell spotting attackers that aren't 'dangerous'.
