Didn’t this lad score a worldy pre season?
Wasn’t he very highly thought of in the under 23’s?

Yet Ronkoe saw fit to sign Klaasson and Sigurddson for big money and send this lad on loan to forest.

Talk about shooting ourselves in the foot.

Get him back and play him in the first team you bunch of muppets.

I would agree but seeing as most Evertonians are defensive duty minded then Dowell would not suit the regular Evertonian.

Yes

That’s why we’re rubbish though.

It’s about getting the right balance but why sign players for mega money when we have a player already on our books.

Bout time we started having faith in these young players.

Most young players can give us a 4-5 game spell and inspire us. It's after that which is more important. Look at Davies. Look at Holgate who has took over a year before we give him a thumbs up. I would say Kenny has established himself quicker than most but who knows what is around the corner. What happened to Rodwell? Barkley we all loved until he didn't do pele goals and started to lose possession. Mega money buys are usually proven at the team we sign them from. Even Forest fans are saying Dowell is very good going forward but is pants going back. Will the regular Everton fan accept that? I don't think so. We are too obsessed with the opposite of said players strength. The team has to be set up to a players strength to see the best of the team rather taking the strength away and concentrating on the weakness during a game. Weaknesses can be worked on in training rather than expecting it to be a strength during a game. Playing to strengths is the only way forward rather than having a winger turning into a secondary full back and attacking midfielders becoming defensive midfielders giving us no outlet at all.

I agree banno.

Get defensive players who can defend, attackers who can attack and let them play to their strengths.

That’s a very simplified version but it’s whats needed

No point stifling our attackers by asking them to defend all the time. As you say it detracts from their strengths.

Yes bully but convincing Everton fans is a different matter.
