Are we bidding for a top 6 place next season?
What is the point in playing at all if you don't try to aim as high as possible ?
At the moment we have a new manager and dof, we have not moved any players out as yet or brought anybody in.
We will all be able to assess where we stand more accurately after the transfer window closes but being optimistic and hopeful is what has kept us going season after season.

Oh, dont get me wrong, i am optimistic. But it may take more than 1 summer to start challenging those teams. Any sign of improvemnet, abd "loving" going the game again is the first step

I'd put him out on loan again personally. He's still a very raw talent and players like him tend to mature a bit later. Crucially he'd benefit from regular first team football and he won't get it at Everton.

If you're going to loan him it better be to a Prem side that will play him. Otherwise start him off in the League Cup games and off the bench as an impact sub (hopefully).

The biggest thing is just have a plan for him. I trust Brands and Silva more than any of the other clowns we've had the last few years to actually sit down and think his career progression through.

I think a loan to someone like Celtic or Rangers would be a good one

yeah might not get him used to the league, but it would certainly get him used to being relied on to be an impactful player in a team going for the title etc

its too hard to guess which Champ team are going to be fighting for promotion, as he deffo needs to be in that kind of team at this point

think he's be a very useful player to have, he'll obviously drift out of games like his type of players do and have games where he does nothing, but he has that something in his locker where he can produce magic out of absolutely nothing. something under an attacking manager like silva would flourish

people seem to forget how good he was in his first 6 months at forest and use the last 6 months as a reference, as soon as karanka come in who is anti-football to a fat sam level his game dropped off, players like that need attack minded managers

as someone said above, celtic or rangers would be a class move for him, go to a team on the front foot who will look to score, get used to playing in big loud stadiums

Not sure what the plan is for the fella. He’s out of contract next summer so can’t really loan him out again to see how he does.

Best case scenario (if we couldnt find a place for him this season), is get him to sign a new contract and give him a loan with the promise of opportunity the following year
