He was a good player, up to Jan last year, I’m sure everyone knows his personal life took a nose dive and his form disintegrated.

I don’t know where that all at.

But he’s a touching 34 full back, so inevitably has a shelf life and risk attached.

Maybe that’s what we have to accept - stop gaps till next year.

It annoys me we could have four right full back now, awful waste, especially when we only had one under contract in June.

I have an instinctive concern here Newcastle know something we don’t here.
