Transfer Rumour Kieran Trippier

He would instantly be our starting RB and cover LB too. He's also a leader in the dressing room and knows Dyche well. Think it would be a good move.

Yes he walks into the team at RB. Because Coleman & Young are dreadful + Dyche wont play Patterson or Dixon.

The major positive/negatives are:

He's 34 in September so not ideal

If hes a stopgap as we have faith in Dixon stepping up over the next 12months then it makes sense.

1) He had an absolute mare against us which was hilarious.

2) We were after him while he was at Atleti, before he decided to go Newcastle. So amazing scouting work once again from the team.

Better than what we have. Can do a job at either full back position.

Watching him play left back at the euros was painful though.

And his performance at GP last year was dreadful as well.

He was actually abysmal all last season. He is just finished. Will fit right in amongst his competitors for that spot.

Absolutely crap and stunk the gaff out last season for the barcodes, probably why they have stripped him as captain and tryna get rid.

We have a 39 and 36 ( or whatever Coleman is ) year old right backs, and ghey want another 33+ year old, no end to how bad this club is ran

Hasn’t been the same since that night at goodison. He’s damaged good but would still automatically be the best right back we’ve got and had in the past 5 years.

I believe the December disaster performances that he put in were around the time of his injuries.

I think once he was recovered the performances improved.

Not 100% on this, just what i had in my mind by season end when he was called up.

You do realise that doesn’t correlate to him doing that here considering Newcastle play a completely different way

So you should be looking at the amount of times he lost a tackle or an error leading to a goal

He's assisted at every club he's been at though, while maintaining a good defensive record. His defensive profile in the last year is decent.

So did Ashley Young mate

Not against the move as even a declining Trippier is still better than all our other options at Right back. Also is a leader, a dead ball specialist and has a good relationship with Dyche.

That said, I'm very disappointed that the club are still kicking the right back can down the road. Him, Coleman and Young have a combined age of 107!
That is it whatever happens this season both fb postions need to be looked with young coleman gone and a choice if we sell or keep patterson
