Guy I went to uni with, massive geordie goth lad, loved drinking white russians before nights out. So much cream.

If it’s good enough for the dude it’s good enough for everyone. Vodka, ice, kahlua and I make mine with milk rather than cream, it tastes like a chocolate milkshake and before you know it you can see and talk but can’t escape your seat as you’ve lost leg function. A dangerous but delicious drink

Negroni. The first sip is like a shock to the system - it’s so boozy. Then the dilution kicks in, and it gets better with every glug.

2 negroni’s is ace. 3 is getting silly. 4 and your missus is carrying you back.

I would mostly turn to a Gin and Tonic on a summer evening, or a Bloody Mary for a Sunday brunch. I mostly stopped drinking liquor and now stick to beer. I used to enjoy Rusty Nails or Manhattans.

Mojito. I often think that in the summer there ought to be a mojito van that comes round in the evening, like the ice cream van but selling mojitos.
