I am personally hoping his comments are in similar ilk to the schneiderlin comments in Jan where we suddenly got that deal done after he commented about it. He says we want another 3 players after Sig, hopefully the club now go out and get it done for him. If there is money to spend which apparently brought him to goodison then now the club can prove it , back him and not throw back sissoko panic buys or useless Valencia stop gaps. Go out and invest this summer because we aren't going to do the same next year, this is our one and only chance to finish the rebuild now and build on it in the future.

This is where I'm at. Why else would he say it? Why else would he lay exactly what we are looking for on the table?

Part of it is to push accountability to the D of F, which to me, is fair. Making it clear to everyone what he signed up for and what he expects. If the Board and Walsh don't deliver, then we need to ask some serious questions. Is it Mosh? Is it Walsh? Is it the board blocking things?

I'm impatient as well, but I'm not calling for anyone's heads until we see where they are at.

...you might be calling for them, but quite a few heads are falling off regardless lol
 

Koeman does realize that if he wasn't so enamored with getting Sigurdsson, he may already have another player or two, right? Have to think the club would have moved on to other targets after they realized Swansea was going to be a huge pain to negotiate with.

Or it could be Koeman getting his excuses in first :(

As someone pointed out earlier, happen our performances in the pre season games, including the Europa League ties, had not been so lacklustre and pedestrian then Koeman would likely not have said that.

Absolutely nowt we have seen on the pitch this past three or four weeks since Tanzania suggests we are ready for the big kick off and this is now practically 100% Koeman's team.

There is no hiding place for him happen we have a poor start.

I hope this is the case anyway....if the manager is going to have to use a press conference to hurry along transfer negotiations every window like was apparently the case with Schneiderlin and is now maybe happening with Iceland, it really does throw a bad light on the current hierarchy at EFC.

One thing is sure.....the euphoria of a few weeks ago has greatly diminished....:(
