So if you don't play it then how can you comment on what I am saying. A computer game is just a simulation.
It's no different than using a computer to predict markets, weather, formula 1, traffic etc
Obviously it makes no sense if the game is very unrealistic or too basic but that's not the case now. The tactics, player stats everything is modelled as realistically as they can and considering the developer spends 10s of millions developing it then it probably produces a reasonable approximation.
Developing a team is all about finding the right players who gel with each other. I have no idea why a manager wouldn't try something like that.
