People said the same about Fer. Lets not pretend that we don't have a long history of fake bids.
It's actually amazing we've ever signed anybody ever with all of this phantom bidding going on.
You are also stating this as though its some widely held belief, when it just makes you sound incredibly paranoid.

I mean really how embarrassing is this when a club continues to fluff it,s lines on transfer execution with a brand new managers 1st player target.

When will we stop putting up with this **** from the club.

What is happening is normal, more than one club come in for a player all the time, it's part of the formalities.

mate it,s 5m ....5 fkin million.....Sheedy has been saying for ages that we have haggled over the payment structure to the point that someone else sniffs a chance.

Not fussed whatever way it goes tbh. Wouldn't really see is as a player lost but at the same time if we get him, would be looking forward to having him here next season.

Regardless of if people want Kone or not this is now massive for us.

Moyes put up with this ****e for years, seeing targets go to other clubs due to finances.

Constantly having to rely on players handing in transfer requests in order to get our man on the cheap. This Kone deal reeks of us beleiving we hold all the cards and being peasants towards wigan, Whelan is playing a blinder and i dont blame him.

This is RM first signing, and at £5M should be possible if your in the ****ing championship! OUr board need to sort their **** out or seriously **** off now cos enough is enough

Newcastle today are a poor football team but they still have better finance than us, money and wages could be sorted out with them by 5pm whereas in our case it could take 2-3 more days

It's the Everton way! And one which RM already seems to be adopting seeing as he has already gone public himself before the ink is dry on the contract. We must be an agent's dream,

I guess as fans we can't have it both ways. We all want to be ITK and then when we are before the deal is done, we moan about the club messing it up.

We'll get Negrado instead.... Lads?

Lads?

I remember the Sky Sports journo earnestly saying how credible our interest was emphasizing how strongly club insiders had pushed our interest. Desperate measures seemingly as there's no way on earth we could have cobbled together the £14m figure that was quoted.
