And for the record, the man arrested for racially abusing Saha on twitter was proved to not be an Evertonian.

And I believe the fan who had his season ticket taken called him a 'French [Poor language removed]', we could argue about political correctness there haha.

tha john barnes banana incident. every away game everton fans went to they shouted racist abuse.

wasnt it only in 2001 when everton announced they would stop selling away tickets if everton fans kept on abusing the black players.

And I've never heard "trigger trigger trigger" chanted at an Everton game and I've been going to games since the 80's.

Ive been to goodison plenty of times over the last 10 years and still here racism even towards your own players. ive seen stewards chuck people out of the stadium for being racist.
im amazed knowing this how you guys can write some of the stuff about liverpool.

With that club's fanbase's long standing and well documented links to the far right I'd wind your neck in if I were you.

Oh, and something about Anton Ferdinand getting a bullet in the post...

Everton's reputation as a racist club was quite undeserved really. Liverpool fans famously threw bananas at Barnes before he signed - that's never meant they get a reputation as a racist club.

Chelsea and Rangers were connected by their huge National Front support - so much so that I saw a Chelsea fan wearing a Rangers shirt at the FA Cup final and have seen many on TV. The media's never said they have a race problem.

Of course racism's wrong but we've done just the same, if not less than other clubs yet we seem to have the bad reputation for it.

It even got to the point that when a fan offered to swap shirts with Alex Nyarko and play in place of him, some media outlets were reporting that it was racially motivated based on the fact the fan's shirt just happened to be black. Fair? No.

What you're saying Drogba is that in 20 or so years time I shouldn't try and stop my kid from underage drinking just because I did it. Things change, people grow out of things and move on. Once they do it's their right to condemn others for doing what they used to do and now find wrong.
