2018/19 Kurt Zouma

Do they?

They have Rudiger, Luiz, Cahill, Christensen, Ampadu and Azpilicueta.

Yes, they might be looking to move Cahill/Luiz on next season, but it's not like they're desperate.

Luiz 31 and Cahill 32 Toff, even Azpilicueta is 29, and as I said, if Zouma had a boss season with us, then why wouldn't they want him back, a 23 year old, quick, solid defender?

There's no way we will be paying that for Zouma mate, look what we paid for Lukaku.

We will get the lad for 30 million. He will not want to stick at Chelsea. Sarri doesn't fancy him. I suspect he's a bit too similar to Rudiger. Big mistake for them IMO as if they'd have keen Christensen, Rudiger & Zouma together they'd have the best back 3 in Europe very quickly.
Lukaku was 4 years ago, prices have been hiked since then. Chelsea aren't stupid they made him sign a 6 year contract before he left. I expect there would of been some dialogue with sarri before he left. Luiz and Cahill will be gone next summer
If he plays well here, he will be back there.

For Chelsea to get him to pen a six year deal last season mate, they must either rate him highly (at the end of the day he's still only 23) and see him as one for the future, or they know they'll be able to sell him on for big bucks if he has a boss season with us, IMO I actually think it's the former.

Players who leave loan clubs rarely go back mate. I have my doubts he will want to go back if he does well here. They will get what they can for him. If they demand £40m we will walk away and they will be left with an unhappy player.

His already come out and said he sees his future at Chelsea.

Equally so, though, why would they be letting him go on loan this season after doing the same last year?

They could easily have looked to get rid of one of them this season as well.

Anyway, my general point is that I'd say it's 50/50.

I also think we have to be positive. If the lad comes here and does well he will likely get the buzz and want to stay here. I also think, if things go to plan and the young group of players continue to improve, by the end of the season I think we will be close in our performance level to the top 4. Make no bones about it, next season we should be aiming to compete for the top 4 and I think this lad could be integral to that.
Even if all the new signings work out and the 2 loan players sign we are still 3/4 players away from a top 4 side
Need a striker , a DM of real quality , a RB ( regretfully) to add to our new signings , Pickford Walcott to compete for top 4

Therein lies the problem. At best, a good season would push his price up.

A lot depends on the player himself. He could push a move through if he really wanted it as Chelsea aren't exactly short on defenders coming through their system to replace him either. They have Tomori and Chalobah, both very highly rated.

He’s alrwady made it clear that he wants to return to and play for Chelsea
