Perhaps he’s not so slow when he’s in a full sprint but over the first few metres and from a standing start he’s definitely a bit lumbersome. And I don’t think being the fastest Burnley player is that big an accolade.So. the people claiming Keane was Burnleys fastest player where chatting wham?

Vardy targeted Keane because he knows he could get around him and has the legs over him. He hardly went near Zouma. I don't worry about Keane when he's coming up against target men - he didn't give an inch to Mitrovic - but he struggles sometimes with the more pacy and agile centre forwards. There where a few moment during the Leicester game where he was trying to track Vardy. I know Vardy has excellent acceleration, but he's 30 odd now and this was over a a few meters.
When he said everybody he was referring to actual footballersGreat....lets keep Umar till next year then.
As was mentioned earlier if the new rules on the number of players you can loan out come into effect it may force Chelsea’s handIf we can't get a superhero CB in the next summer window, then we need to compromise with Chelsea. Surely they have it in their hearts to work with us after the Barkley fiasco.
Nobody in their right mind will spend 50m on Zouma esp BrandsOther than Rudiger and Luiz who seem to be first choice, Chelsea have the likes of Cahill, probably into the last couple of seasons in the top flight with a contract that expires in May,Christensen young and developing and Ampadu who is going to be a top top player. They will be in the market for an experienced central defender but I can’t see Zouma going back there I see him as a rock sold defender but he doesn’t have the passing skills to play in Saris system
The market has gone mad and top defenders are costing north of £60 million. Zouma isn’t that level but he is a far better player than Keane who was valued around £25-35 million. If and a big if Zouma is sold Chelsea are going to want at least the top end of that and if he has a good season then that figure could nudge toward that £50 million mark
To be fair Vardy out paces most centre halves.Vardy targeted Keane because he knows he could get around him and has the legs over him. He hardly went near Zouma. 100% agree, his pace is about 90% of his game, but you could see throughout the game he was purposely targeting Keane instead of Zouma - now he’d definitely outpace Zouma over 20/30 metres but I think Vardy knew Keane has trouble keeping tabs on him and reacting to his movement. To be fair Vardy out paces most centre halves.

Vardy did target Keane and I thought Keane did very well.Vardy targeted Keane because he knows he could get around him and has the legs over him. He hardly went near Zouma.
