Physically he’s like distin, must be demoralising being a striker , picking the ball up , running at goal but seeing zouma in your way, he’s so rapid and strong . The fact that he’s good on the ball and can take the ball out of defence and find a blue shirt makes him a very good player even at 23 imo

Zouma was man of the match yesterday for me, I thought he was outstanding except for a couple of loose passes, he was the one who held the defence together and started a lot of the moves, would love Everton to make his transfer
permanent.

His recovery speed is one of his main assets IMO

I went for Pickford purely because of the pen save , but I agree with everything you said

Distin was rapid unit , absolutely huge and so quick at accelerating , I see zouma as the same .

I like that he isn't afraid of a cross field pass to switch play quickly as oppose to passing it along the back line at a snails pace. He's also quite good at defending as well.

He's nowhere near Distin, tbf, in terms of pace.

Zouma takes a while to get going but when he does he's pretty quick for a CB.

He's not as quick as a lot are making out, though.

I actually thought he had a pretty average game on Sunday. His positioning was all over the place at times and there were more than a few times when he dived in, either missing the ball or conceding a foul.

But he's playing well with Keane overall and I'm chuffed he's here for now. Very composed on the ball as well.
