They clearly bought him for the future and thought they had enough cover, hence loaning him out straight away. He'd have been third choice striker now so it made sense to loan. I assume they believe they'll be alright for the time being, or have another striker lined up before the window closes.

Are you saying they bought him for a laugh or something? Or that as soon as they signed the contracts they started regretting the deal?

I'm saying that just because the director of football buys someone, doesn't mean the manager wants him. The lads 23, if he's good enough he's old enough to start games for them, don't try and paint it as a Deulofeu situation. Ranieri mustn't rate the lad.

I hear ya. You might be right mate, we'll see! Just hope he has an impact the last 15 games and we'll learn what is to happen after that in the summer. One thing is for sure they won't be able to demand top dollar for him if he's never played for him, surely if it came to it it'd be a case of us paying them what they paid Anzhi.
 
They could have bought him as an option to make money. They've seen he's available cheap, buy him, loan him out, he's successful, sell him, make a killing!
 
I think Traore has made me the most excited to see a subs bench in my life. Until the teams are relseased i am going to be (im)patiently waiting around just to se if he is on the bench. Then spend the entire second half if so shouting bring Traore on for Osman FFS
