Out for another 10-14 days - Martinez press conference.

I love how Martinez keeps talking about our injured players being back for the really important last 8 games of the season as though actually having 11 fit players will rocket us up the table into the Champions League... it might be too late by then Robbie!!!

Does McGeady speak a bit of Russian, with Traore coming out of that league...I'm just imagining them jabbering away in the corner and swigging Vodka at half time....

Traore's mother tongue is French, so would he be sitting eating frogs legs with Mirallas too?

Odd comment that :P

"It was quite close but Everton was my choice," said the striker. "I looked at the styles of play of the two teams we are talking about and the way in which Everton play is more of a passing side and the style of Everton suited my technical ability.

"Also I looked at where they were in the league and they [Everton] were quite well off for points in the league so I think with that sort of emphasis on skill and the passing game I am hoping I can settle in as quickly as possible with my style of play.
"There were other clubs interested in me at the beginning but I knew Everton had a good possibility of getting into European football next season. I am pleased I have made this choice and I am standing by my choice of this club."

Putting 2 and 2 together but why would a player on loan till the end of the season be arsed if we're in Europe next season. Said too much maybe...?

He also said he will see how things go at the end of the season, it's his ambition to play in the premiership

Not seen the rest of the presser, I'm reading this having my dinner in work. Sounds like the move to Monaco was only ever a temporary thing to get him away from Anzhi, with no real chance of him staying there for too long.
