Martinez said 10-14 days away from fitness 5 days ago, so earliest he will return is for spurs but cant see it tbh unless RM is overstating the return date slightly

Like Barkley? Keep the opponents guessing.

I might be wrong but maybe it's frowned upon to keep offering wrong information regarding ETA's for injured players. The sponsors for one might appreciate accurate information, as would the fans.

Martinez has said he's not that fussed what the opposition think, his philosophy is all about our game. I'd be surprised if he's fibbing about player ETA's in an effort to get an advantage over the next opponents.

Is this a serious post???

I honestly can't tell....

Reckon the best we can hope for is a cameo from the bench against Spurs, especially if we're chasing the game. Otherwise I think Martinez will be careful with him.

Personally I'd go with Mirallas up top for Spurs. I know he did little until his goal against Villa but the lad is a match-winner. Always has that one moment of magic in him as we saw on Saturday.

if we go into the spurs game without a forward I don't think we will win tbh, we struggled to break down villa never mind Spurs who do have good players especially their midfield. I think we need that presence up top otherwise they will press us further up the pitch and we will struggle.

Mirallas' goal last season at WHL was a belter - dribbled past 2 or 3 & a cracking shot. Let's have some more of that ...
