Lacina Traore

A couple of years ago I suggested a harness so that McAleny could ride Strac around, using his endless endurance and strength, while McAleny told him where to go and what to do. The StracAleny would have been unstoppable.

Traore is approximately the height of StracAleny.

Hahahahahahaha.

It's looking more and more like we should have kept hold of Jelavic instead of getting in an injured player who hadn't played for 4 months.

Very true. Shocking signing tbh. We needed a striker to come in and hit the ground running on 1st Jan. Top 4 has gone now.

Couldn't agree more. We were struggling before Lukaku was injured as well. Was pleased with the Traore signing until Martinez said he'd make an impact from March. Far too late! We've lost all of the momentum we had now. Even if we win the next 4/5 league games i don't think we'll make 4th. A shame, because i don't think we needed that much.

....I'm not so sure. Jelavic was clearly not the Managers type. He wasn't in RMs plans. The player knew it and wanted away. We got good money and I don't believe Jelavic would've been the inspiration we needed.
Whereas Traore has been inspirational?

tbf, we started the season with jelavic and had been given plenty of games. he only scored in his last game? first time he's scored for so so long as well.

you can't just say we should have kept him, he would have scored goals like he's doing now at hull.

he probably would have been just as uselesss as he had been for 7/8+ mnoths
