Which would be ideal tbh. If he has an impact over 20 games then he can be crap for the rest of his career for all i care.

...me too. For those old enough to remember, Alan Whittle came into the run in of the 1970 season and score 11 goals that were critical in us winning the league. Big impact in short period of time would be great.

obviously based on martinez' comments saving money until the summer to buy one or two outright, possibly lukaku, they're showing great ambition - well martinez is.

you never really get good value for money in jan, it does make sense in a way.

Personally it doesn't bother me as long as we get to the CL next season. The fact that we are challenging already is making us look attractive to players wanting to play in the PL (Traore preferring to help us challenge for top 4 than be in a relegation battle, for instance). If we do finish in the top 4 then we'll see things change.
 
After all the talk of 'players with the right profile',and not 'disrupting the group', this guy
doesnt seem to fit at all. Strange one - seems like Roberto is rolling the dice a bit if this one is true.
