Surly the last thing we need is a 6ft 8" striker..
So Jags an Distin can go back to there old ways....
HOOOOOOOOOOF.............................................
as with anything it's always best to mix thingsup, keeps the opposition wondering.

besides, Rom has been playing as a 'big' target man all season, and we've managed to avoid endless hoofings up the pitch so why would it start now we've got ball players everywhere else?

Because Lukaku wins less balls in the air than Anders Limpar......

.....from what I've seen this boy doesn't look the type who would welcome or be effective with aerial stuff. Bottom line in all of the 'is he good enough' discussions is that he must surely be an improvement on Jelavic, so he will strengthen our options up top.

L'Equipe: Lacina Traoré's return to Monaco and a cancellation of his proposed loan deal with Everton is 'unlikely' they claim.

Need to get tis done today or move on. What can be holding this up now? Monaco have their answer on Falcao; they surely can make a decision on Traore right now?

Traore is a valuable commodity, unfortunately that is what footballers are these days.
There are probably a myriad of things that need to be finalised before a deal can be completed.
Things the ordinary supporter would not normally think of.
If the player gets a career ending injury while at Everton whose insurance pays ?
Traore will have all types of bonuses built into his contract at Monaco ,is he paid things like win bonuses at Monaco even if
he is playing at Everton and does he get paid any bonuses by Everton.
When there are large sums of money involved I expect all these kind of things take a while to tease out.
