Lacina Traore

don't agree with clubs buying players and loaning them straight out, don't like it at all.

I am fine with the loan system if it's a chance for young kids or experienced pro's who aren't getting a game but teams buying players and loaning them straight out just doesn't sit right with me.

Traore is a valuable commodity, unfortunately that is what footballers are these days.
There are probably a myriad of things that need to be finalised before a deal can be completed.
Things the ordinary supporter would not normally think of.
If the player gets a career ending injury while at Everton whose insurance pays ?
Traore will have all types of bonuses built into his contract at Monaco ,is he paid things like win bonuses at Monaco even if
he is playing at Everton and does he get paid any bonuses by Everton.
When there are large sums of money involved I expect all these kind of things take a while to tease out.

All that can be done in an afternoon's chinwag between two legal representatives.

The way is clear now to a yes or no.

We have a week 'till the window slams shut. Hard luck on Monaco losing Falcao like, but they need to **** or get off the pot - and if they dont by end of business today we need to end this and move on.

Why?

Why can't clubs plan for the future? They obviously think he's going to be a good player for them and that he maybe needs a little bit more big league experience before he joins them.

Either they buy him now and loan him, or risk out on losing him completely.

Makes sense to me, and clubs do it all the time.

Injured or not shouldn't have an impact on us signing him, considering he was injured in the first place when we tried to get him.. This is dragging on to long and I don't fancy Playing the kaku 90 mins against Stevenage

PHP:
Could we be trying to buy instead of a loan bit strange for a loan to take so long even tho falco is injured. Would prob take a bit longer to buy as we no bill likes to haggle when buying.

A bit harsh. He did get a touch with his assist on Monday night. And don't forget his header that put us 3-2 up against them at
home.

He got "a touch" all right but calling that an "assist" is stretching it a bit.

It was the defender's hesitation and Mirallas's opportunism which turned that "touch" into an "assist".

I don't pretend to know anything about this Traore bloke but one thing I do know....if our central striker had a better or more consistent first touch than Lukaku then our attacking prowess would increase dramatically.

I can't wait to see this Traore in action.

I don't agree with it, It's almost like they are buying him so nobody else can have him. I also don't see a 23yr old as being one for the future he should be entering his best years as a striker.

Look at De Bruyne what a waste of his time it was signing for Chelsea, there was no point to it and he could of carried his career on at a club who actually wanted him not just, hoping he turns out brilliant after another club helps develop him.

It's getting silly, you shouldn't buy players you don't need.

Chances are If traore doesn't play you will see Vellios start against Stevenage, or Naismith. I can't see lukaku starting 3 games in a week and Roberto will be concious of that.

Would be amazing if a young lad got a game, if there are any left at the club
!

Monaco in for Hulk, SSN

And that is what the richest club in the world do when their star striker gets injured.

Not call off a loan of someone they weren't arsed with in the beginning as some doom mongerers think.

Although.........Hulk from russia as well? Turn the deal round and send lacana back and sign hulk!

We should buy our striker from Monaco in the summer! Falcao, Traore, Riviere, Martial, Hulk.

One of them must be for sale at a reasonable price.......I say Falcao
