I don't disagree about the service but he's not usually one to create something out of nothing.

Yak has been known to and I don't think we give that much up by giving Vaughan a run.

Knowing Moyes, Cahill will play. Perhaps Vaughan on at the start of the 2nd half or at least at minute 60.

Tim Howards best mate is being courted by us it seems, reports from the States say we are making arrangements to take him in the January window...............sounds like a loan deal

He looks like a right narky [Poor language removed] this fella , got one of them faces you have the overwhelming urge to punch

Landon Donovan is excited about his three-month loan spell with Everton and cannot wait to get over to England to get it underway.

The 27-year old LA Galaxy star will link up with his new teammates on January 1 and is full of enthusiasm about his opportunity to play in the English Premier League.

"I am really looking forward to coming over. For any American player, or any player in the world for that matter, the opportunity to play for a club like Everton is a very exciting one,” said the USA international.
Donovan also said that fellow countryman Tim Howard had spoken highly about the club and was looking forward to playing alongside him as well as working with manager David Moyes.

“I had heard great things from Tim about the manager and I have spoken with him myself,” he added.

"Tim and I have spoken a couple of times about it and he has told me all about the club and all about the expectations at Everton. I'll be travelling over on January 1 and I can't wait to get started.

“I have to say I was very impressed with his (Moyes) knowledge of the game over here and of my situation personally. He was very straight and honest with me and I am really looking forward to working with him."

Hard to see where Landon Calrissan is going to fit in, Ossie, Billy, Pienaar played really intellgently yesterday some of the movement and play was superb.

Fair point ...but we still struggled to break down 10-man Burnley!
So I'm not getting too carried away just yet. Although the general attacking play and movement of the forwards/midfield, around the oppositions box was a definite improvement, over some of the dross I have had to witness of late.

I wouldnt say we struggled to break them down mate - i think we just didnt take our chances we could have scored at least 7 yesterday, i would like to think that confidence played a part in that.

Some of the play from Ossie, Pienaar and Billy was sublime.

Couldnt beleive some people having a pop at Billy i know he was sloppy once or twice but hes such an intellgent player. Some of his play yesterday was gifted - he needs to develop consistencey and learn to be involved in the whole game. Yesterday we were a threat from both flanks and centrally. The Yak was fantastic as well. At last we are going to see what was planned in the summer.

Specail mention to the Heit, some of his distribution was excellent though i still think we are weak at the back.

*Wouldnt mind us going in for Chris Eagles in the summer.

Got your back on that one....we do lack confidence, that killer instict at the mo...but slowly we're getting better with every game....I think that very soon were gonna blaze some team by 4 or 5 goals.

If he doesnt get a game ahead of Osman something is wrong in Moyes head.

We spent the end of last season praying that we had seen the back of Lightweight Osman and cant attack Hibbert, but still they are in the team, we cant improve with players like these, just cant.

Osman on the flank I agree, but in a central role he's pretty decent
