He will officially put pen to paper on his two-and-a-half month deal on Monday before joining the rest of the squad to prepare to begin his Everton career in earnest - with a trip to Arsenal next up.

I guess so.

So I guess Landon is now officially part of Everton. I hope he does well and comes back to my team on time.(y)

Landon usually doesn't pull off cheeky moves like Dempsey does. Landon is much more timid about those things and he usually takes the easy route with the best percentages. I hear him talking about percentages of success all the time. Sometimes you wish he would just be selfish and abandon his damn percentages.

When he does try something fancy though it usually pays off like in this video on his facebook. Go to the videos on the left side and click the one that says "Donovan's got skills".
I can't post links yet but it is facebook/LandonDonovan

P.S. Landycakes is a nickname that has stuck with him from earlier in his career when he used to disappear in big games. So just so you know it is a put down not a name of endearment. Good luck guys!

Is that you Landy?

Have to say I think we are expecting too much of this player.

May be so, but when you know another player with pace is at your disposal, even though it's only for 10 weeks, I am still excited over it.

I feel with the right type of support and with couple of pacy player on the pitch, we could do alot more in our attack!

Yeah. Heaven forbid we expect something from the best USA outfield player of the past 20 years.

I don't think anyone's expecting anything other than a professional performance while he's here.

No one is saying he's going to set the world alight and no one is saying that he's going to be terrible either.

I think most are saying that he's going to help us and leave it at that.

I think Moyes could well play him from the start, Pip to right back and then he'll pack the midfield as he normally does against the Gooners, it doesn't work but that is what he does
