Last Film You Watched

Funnily enough I preferred Bladerunner with the original Fords voice over, his voice was perfect for it and the scene between Hauer and Ford was far more complete with the voice over in it. Just my opinion like. Did you ever see the documentary about this film, think it was called Stranger days, it was a look behind the scenes of the actual making of Bladerunner. The film was all arguments, delays almost had the plug pulled on it, the studio bosses came within an ace of sacking Ridley Scott over it. Fascinating watch. As you can guess I loved that film.

You should read Future Noir, it details the making of the film and the shenanigans that went on.

Is that the book about the documentary I've just quoted ? Probably where the documentary came from. Can really recommend the documentary mate. We are probably talking about the same thing, one in word, one in film.
Yeah, Dangerous Days, it's on the definitive cut blu ray. There is another one by Mark Kermode as well which is worth catching.

I`ve got both versions mate and I like them both equally.

I find that when I watch the one with out the voice over I`m much more aware of what`s going on around him, where as when I watch the one with the voice over, I feel as though I`m in Deckard`s head. ( if that makes sense).

I can`t tell you how much I love this film.

It is without doubt my favourite film and always will be.

Spot on assessment, also the Vangalis soundtrack just can't be beaten, it so suits the dark theme of the movie.

Not sure what to make of this. A decent storyline, but a tad confusing. 6/10. Maybe a second watch will be needed.
