Speed (1994)
For old times' sake. Holds up very well.. action movies made today can learn - or rediscover - a thing or two from this slick production. 9/10.
Re-watched The Shape of Water last night with the missus and she thought it was meh.
Scratched my head really, but I haven't found anyone else to like the film either.
Peronally one of my favourite ever films; visually stunning with a great cast, lovely soundtrack & actually rounds out well for a standalone movie with no sequel.

If it ain’t Dr Strangelove, then I’m disappointed.Dr Strange
Hellboy, yeah as I expected, Ignore the critics. Its a decent movie. Nothing ground breaking or anything but no movie about Hellboy was ever going to be. I'll defo see this again before it goes off the cinema and I'd advise people to give it a chance.
I thought the lead did good job honestly and they did a very faithful adaption from the comics. I'd imagine some people won't like it because the can't get past Ron Perlman not being there but if people just watch it for what it is and judge the film on its own merits I think they'll find it to be an decent little movie. You do surprise me.
How does it compare to the original, as I can’t see how Ron Perlman could be replaced ?
