Last Film You Watched

Speed (1994)
For old times' sake. Holds up very well.. action movies made today can learn - or rediscover - a thing or two from this slick production. 9/10.

Re-watched The Shape of Water last night with the missus and she thought it was meh.

Scratched my head really, but I haven't found anyone else to like the film either.

Peronally one of my favourite ever films; visually stunning with a great cast, lovely soundtrack & actually rounds out well for a standalone movie with no sequel.

I really enjoyed it too ;)
+1 :)

Finally got around to seeing BlacKkKlansman. Overall, I thought it was well done. On the one hand it's funny, but on the other hand it's frightening how relevent things that happened 40+ years ago remain in today's society.

The saddest thing about it was seeing David Duke's influence back then still exists today when Lee put up that photo from Charlottesville.

I'd give it an 8/10. Didn't even realize the lead actor is Denzel's kid.

Hellboy, yeah as I expected, Ignore the critics. Its a decent movie. Nothing ground breaking or anything but no movie about Hellboy was ever going to be. I'll defo see this again before it goes off the cinema and I'd advise people to give it a chance.

You do surprise me.

How does it compare to the original, as I can’t see how Ron Perlman could be replaced ?

I thought the lead did good job honestly and they did a very faithful adaption from the comics. I'd imagine some people won't like it because the can't get past Ron Perlman not being there but if people just watch it for what it is and judge the film on its own merits I think they'll find it to be an decent little movie.

Sorry mate, I’m one of those people.

Ron Perlman was born to play Hell Boy and I refuse to accept all impostors !

Avengers: Endgame

Starts slow and unexpected. Then ramps up magnificently for the ending. Some great humor, spectacular scenes and honestly a story a bit more complex than I thought it was going to be!

I got sad sad twice. Then sad happy.

Solid 8/10
