A film you will either love or hate,set in the English civil war

Watched- the Night Eats the World last night,

Thought it was very good, a different approach to the end of the world stuff.

Reminded me very much of a book I read by a Spanish author, whose name I can’t remember !

Fella lives alone in a fortified villa, wakes up and the world outside has been over run with the undead.

More a study of boredom and loneliness, than zombies.

Yeah thats what I liked,the different approach to the usual running about and how being alone gets to him

I also like the twist with the girl at the end very much, where he comes to his senses and snaps out of his madness.

The lad who played the lead is a good actor.

Studio Canal usually make half decent stuff, similar to Film4.

Went to see Ma , it was ok but a bit of a re-hash of a lot of other films. Misfit/victim revenge for what went on in high school .

Watched a couple so far
Bleach a Japanese film with ghosts,demons,martial arts a silly fun film
Mohawk I found it a surprisingly good film,two native Americans and a British soldier trying to evade American soldiers in a forest

Venom.

As a massive Venom fan, I enjoyed it.

Just finished Venom - garbage film.

I thought it was OK. A pretty sanitised version of the story and, obviously, as far fetched as you can get but good fun. Even my better half enjoyed it and she has no truck with these sort of things...

Murder Mystery (Anniston/Sandler) -- good to pass the time and fairly amusing.

Diego Maradona. What a player, what a film. Anyone who thinks there’s ever been a better footballer knows nothing about football. Great film.

FAR FAR FAR better than the original and I didnt even like the female lead before this film but she was very good.
