@jaycee have you seen this - Ravenous.

Not to be confused with the cannibal one with Robbie Carlyle.

French Canadian so it’s subs.

A remote community around Quebec is over run by Zombies, cause unknown. The film follows a small group of survivors attempting to stay one step ahead of them.

Low on gore, loads of suspense and very well acted. Well filmed too.

Yeah seen it,quite enjoyed it,very neat film and as you say beautifully shot, shows you dont need masses of fake blood, the Carlyle one I thought was poor, the last film I watched was a Mexican one called "Similars" strange film and not quite sure if I liked it,was kind of a long episode of tales from the crypt or something

What did you make of the ending, with the pyramid of furniture the zombies had made, I couldn’t work it out !!

Well the infected seemed to be quite intelligent,as you seen when they lured people into the woods,so I think the stack of furniture was a symbol of how many had left urban areas and were now in the countryside, but then again I could be spouting utter bollocks

It's a terrible shame IMDB did away with their message boards, used to be loads of smart folk on there posting interesting theories and interpretations

Went to see Sometimes Always Never with Bill Nighy doing a reasonable (south) Liverpool accent , Jenny Agutter wearing well and Sam Riley, who played Ian Curtis in Control. I really enjoyed it , best film I've seen for a while.
