Just flicking through the channels and came across “Hitler.the rise of evil” on true movies now with Robert Carlyle as Hitler! Strange piece of casting,

Not what you would call an original storyline. A middle class kid struggles to fit in with the existing pupils at a public school but enjoys the compensations and visual distractions of female six formers. All hell then breaks loose. The usual Simon Pegg and Nick Frost sort of thing really. Enjoyable enough in its way...

Felt like a missed opportunity to me, could`ve been so much better (imo )

Waste of Alexandar Skarsgard.

Probs one of the worst films I've seen so far this year.

Main character had zero depth (did he even have to be mute?), zero fight scenes of any worth, the pedophil sub-plot was bonkers and really mis-handled, meh ending. Why is it even set in near-future Berlin as well? Could have been done exactly the same just in modern day Berlin.

Only reason I can see it having to be near-future is because it's a sort-of-sequel to Moon which was a brilliant film.

It was billed as Moon 2.

Maybe I missed something, as other than being directed by Duncan Jones, I just couldn`t see any comparisons at all.

Moon is one of the best scfi films ever made, where as Mute is an instantly forgettable jumbled up mess.

Only links to Moon were the little clip on the TV screen in the cafe of multiple Sam Bell's in court and then fliers you see round the city saying "Free the 156"
