Yes. It's a great film

Really? Drunk rock star walks into a drag bar to hear a talented quite fit bird sing. Turns out she has no ties or prospects and a dead beat job so joins his tour. Fortunately she is already an accomplished performer on the larger stage, somehow and everyone loves her songs as though they had been listening to them all their lives. At this point I gave up watching. Utter rubbish...

I really liked ‘a star is born’ a few bits that don’t work but brave ending and I thought the characters were really good and their relationship and yes stars do get found like that, Gaga herself as going for years before she broke through, also coopers voice is cool 7/10

Watched MA last night watchable but was a bit like watching an 80's film about it, more of a time filler rather than good or really bad.

Midsommar - Genuinely disturbing and hilarious at the same time.

My head absolutely fell off in the last 45 minutes and if I wasn't in a cinema I would've been in tears laughing for a lot of it.

I think Peele did a brilliant job of creating a creepy as F atmosphere, and kept you wondering exactly WTF was the deal. Like we all get it, things ain't sound in this place, but oh damn!

Maybe I'm naive, but I was surprised that the GF/daughter was the demon of it all.

Watched The Assassination of Jesse James last night. Thought Brad Pitt was excellent and the cinematography was incredible, however that aside I was a bit disappointed. Found it slow and too long, the voice over narration I wasnt into at all and a few times the accents I found to hard.
Bought it ages ago and was really looking forward to it as well.

Watched A Star is Born the other day and genuinely had to keep checking I was watching the same film everyone has been raving about.

Dreadful songs, poor characters, a story that didn't make sense. Absolute mess of a film.
