Deepwater Horizon was on Channel 4 and I watched it for the first time. It wasn’t amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but a solid movie.

Not sure about this TBH pal. Have you seen the state of the Harley Quinn/Birds of Pray trailer? Seems like its two steps forward with the Joker then five steps back!

Its further proof that DC and Warner Bros need to just droop the whole shared universe thing and focus on making great stand-alone movies/triolgy's.
Well I hope that's the case. Unfortunately DC (really Warner Bros) have a nasty of saying one thing and sometimes starting it then going in a compelty different direction. Trash like the Birds of Pray film don't do much to change peoples perception of them either. That’s what Joker apparently is. They want it to be the start of DC Black universe.

Interesting. I like sci-fi, but have been avoiding this as the trailer really didn't sell it to me. Got a £5 Odeon ticket to use this week, so might use it on this.View attachment 68120
Resisted going to see the Joker tonight and went to see Ad Astra.
Brad Pitt heads a mission into space to try and stop his missing astronaut father ( Tommy Lee Jones ) from destroying the earth.
Amazing cinematography, great performance from Pitt, who’s getting better as he gets older.
A real “ thinking “ sci-fi.
Excellent.
