Yeh she loved it. Bawled her eyes out & she’s a massive George Michael fan.
Can't beat a good Crimbo film at this time of year.

Just seen it got panned by snotty reviewers online but meh it was fun, festive, hilarious and had a nice emotional “twist” of sorts. Would recommend for anyone that loves The Holiday/Love Actually etc.
Wont be everyone's cup of tea mate but I find film critics and any kind of critic who gets paid to be a critic to be in the main complete bellends.
The latest movies I have watched consist of Joker, Crawl and toy story 4.... I would watch Toy story 4 again and Crawl is deffo getting watched again this weekend GREAT Jawsesk flick..loved it..the Joker ....not so much. Phoenix played the part well, but the film was just depressing and practically a carbon copy of old Scorsese flicks..... just not as rewatchable.

Was about to loudly enquire. ... sequel ??? But then of course there will be...as you said it's just the comic book way.The reported sequel will be awful I reckon, no way can Todd Philips make two films in a row which people care about (I found Joker very average and too obvious) and can the Pheonix carry it again now people know what it's like.
It will make millions though, it's the comic book way.
I thought it was a very good story of how The Joker came to be, no need to really analyse it more than that for me.The fact Joker has divided opinion so much and is so open to interpretation is what makes it such a good film ( imo)
The fact some saw it as exploiting people with mental health problems and others saw it as a massive swipe at the way society treats those with mental health ( the way I saw it )
It will undoubtedly be dividing opinions for years to come.
Been to see Midway, i liked it, a lot of CGI obviously as there not going to recreate that battle without it, its good, much better then the original one and more importantly from what i have read its historically very accurate, well worth seeing, also they have pictures at the end of the original people depicted in the film.
With a large helping of 'Uncle Buck' to follow.Thanksgiving a week today in the States, people. I demand Trains, Planes and Automobiles be watched in the next couple of weeks.
If you haven't seen it, it's John Candy and Steve Martin at their peaks and one of the best comedies of the 80s.
