Love this film. Watched it on BBC Scotland a while ago. Was just talking to my mum-in-law about it a few days ago, specifically about Maggie Bell and her being in Stone the Crows.

I remember watching it when it first aired.
Amazing how many scots actors are in the cast.
Like a who's who.
I was sure the barman was Bobby off still game.

Just watched Enemy At The Gates, I enjoyed iwatching t and it looks great, the set, but I think it would of been so much better if it was a Russian film in Russian/German with subs, and a bit less Hollywood.

I’ve always thought that or at least with German/ Russian actors. Jude Law is miscast also I think. Still a good film but could have been a classic

True. Sometimes a little thing can put you off a film early and it’s tough to get yourself back into it. Depends what mood you’re in as well often I find

Such a great film. And I agree on Mark Ruffalo, I first saw him in a film called "you can count on me" starring Laura Linney, another very underrated actor.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this but I just watched the new Bee Gees documentary. I used to dislike them as my Dad used to play them endlessly growing up but they wrote so many amazing songs. Also crazy that they basically stumbled on the fact that Barry had that falsetto in his locker which is what they are probably best remembered for. If you are a fan of theirs (or music in general) it's well worth a watch.
