Coming to America. Classic.
Lots of things to like about this film, few scenes I found ridiculous, a few sanctimonious bits with Tom hanks. Felt a bit let down by it 6/10 for me.View attachment 117635
Really good, I like the Green Greengrass of fillums anyway but this is most excellent. Quite a nice mix of classic western and more modern indie styles with plenty of allegory to ponder beyond the main tale.
Netflix.
Watched that when I was 9. Ffs since I've had a kid I realised how bad my dad was at timesHellraiser.

Weird, unsettling, totally cheesy but with some terrifying concepts.

Remember watching scum. The guy bites the other guys eye out and spits it out. Must be around the same time. My aunty saying "he shouldn't be watching this" not sure how I ended up watching all of it or it not being turned off. Shocking in hindsightReckon I would have been 10 or 11, and at my mates. His Dad was the wrongun who let us watch it.

Same. I remember pretending I’d seen robocop at school as everyone was talking about it.Mum and Dad were pretty good keeping me away from R rated stuff. I remember getting really upset about not being able to watch Ghostbusters around ‘85 and then Raw Deal a couple of years later.
Never actually seen Scum, might give that a go Ive heard of it down the years.
Was always too scared to watch that.Hellraiser.
