Last Film You Watched

The Last Picture Show and Midnight Cowboy. Going through a bit of a Hollywood New Wave rewatch. Such classics.

Also watched The Great Escape with my 11 year old and she absolutey loved it. Strange to introduce her to the 2nd World War and field a million questions about POW’s and the conventions around prisoners, and you could see how far away we are now from what we grew up taking for granted.

She might like Kelly's Heroes then...in it's own...doesn't take its self seriously way...a minor classic

wrong turn (2021) not bad, gets a lot of negative reviews on imdb mostly saying it was different to the original, never seen the original some had nothing to compare it to. thought this was decent enough, passes an evening. 6/10

palmer (2021) justin timberlake try's to get his life together after he is released from prison and strikes up an unlikely friendship with the neighbours kid. justin timberlake was good but real star was the young kid. very good 8/10

Yeah didnt mind that movie, decent acting, decent writing.

The original Ghostbusters,even though the CGI has aged terribly its still a boss film,I watched the all female one when that came out and its not a patch on the 1st one
