Last Film You Watched

@jaycee

Watched Jiu Jutsu last night lol

Holy moly, how did this get funding and what a waste of the likes Saint Nic, Frank Grillo and Tony Jaa.

It`s like someone decided to make a film using the sets from 1970`s Star Trek, with the whole thing filmed on Go pro`s stuck in slow mo mode, the aliens space suit being stolen from the BBC wardrobe department and Willis`s face from Different Strokes being used as template for the aliens face lollollol

Even Saint Nic couldn`t rescue this one.

I tried this but couldn't make it past about 15 mins. I then switched to something equally bad, in fact so bad they seem to have tried to hide it behind a different name on Netflix Breach, but Anti-Life on Netflix. It start like a B movie so I decided to flick forward on the off chance that alien chaos might have picked things up. It is clearly a relatvely low budget flick but I wasn't expecting to see the bunk beds from Red Dwarf being used (roughly 44:10 in).

Night in Paradise. ( S Korean / subs )

I won’t go into the plot too much, as it’d give the film away, other than to say it surrounds rival South Korean gangs, betrayal and revenge.

What a film and @Zatara is right when he said it’s the film of the year so far.

Old Boy levels of violence, not for the faint hearted and relentlessly bleak, but what a film.

It’ll win a bucket load of awards.

Netflix.

Watched this last night, also thought it was great - thanks for the recommendation

The Director is top notch,

New World + I saw the Devil are a couple of his previous films.

Hard to say anything without spoiling it for anyone, but that scene right at the end was something else

As soon as it had finished I went back and watched that bit again
