Last Film You Watched

Just watched some crime film called Best Laid Plans with Reece Witherspoon, kind of a thriller with a few twists and turns and various people all trying to rip each other off, was ok, Josh Brolin in it too, decent film

One of the best movies in a long time. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish; the scenes on the bus and with Christopher Lloyd in the nursing home are simply brilliant.

Apart from them playing you’ll never walk alone, this easily 10/10. You can watch this over and over; would have loved to have seen this in cinema

I assume they got permission from Klopp for that.

This is excellent stumbled across it today. I spent some time in Northern Colombia so the scenery (as opposed to the content) brings back memories. I also saw some indigenous wayuu during a jungle trek which was pretty mental. The first ten minutes might put some people off, dont be it does liven up,

Finally got around to watching Gerry by Gus Van Sant on Prime. It's got Casey Affleck and Matt Damon, to be completely honest not a lot actually happens in the film it's go no real narrative/story. They're the only two characters who get lost exploring the desert in New Mexico. It divides opinion but I absolutely loved it, particularly the opening 5 mins.

Watched this myself the other day and thought it was great.

Can see why people would dislike it as it comes across as very self indulgent, but it hits all the beats a good film should for me.

There’s a scene where they’re both walking for what seems like an age and they use nothing but expression to tell the story and move the plot forward. Takes some skill that.

Absolutely! Seems to be the consensus, some of the imagery is mind blowing. The intro and soundtrack combined almost gave me chills, something purely nostalgic about it all.

Just finished Nicolas Winding Refn's (Drive) Pusher trilogy.

All three are great, about heroin dealing in Copenhagen. Mads Mikkelsen in some of his first films.
