Unforgiven - second watch, years since I first saw it. Brilliant, so bleak and matter of fact, and builds to an incredible finale.
Rewatched "The Master." Not a weak performance by any actor in that film. I forgot how brilliant and versatile Amy Adams is. And it only reinforces that PSH is one of the best ever.

Mississippi Burning, second viewing. It had been decades.
I think it has supplanted Shawshank at the top for me. The dialogue is so, so tight and the cast is ridiculously good. When R. Lee Ermey is turning in the weakest performance, you're doing it right.
Hackman got robbed by the Academy, and Hoffman was phenomenal that year. This may be the second-best performance I've seen anyone turn in, behind only Peter O'Toole in Lawrence of Arabia. That's because he says it all with just his eyes in that one.

Brilliant film and as you're suggesting often criminally underrated: I know a fair few people who've somehow never seen it.
Watched "The Quiet Place 2" last night. Not sure why they even made it honestly, I guess it "moved" the story along but it's not necessarily a story that needed to be added to.

Watching Greenland. I knew it would be rubbish because it had Gerard butler in it. Started off ok considering I hate disaster movies, but I couldn't help but feel this feeling of middle class happy families deserved to succeed more than the ordinary people that serve them. Load of sheet
