Last Film You Watched

Unforgiven - second watch, years since I first saw it. Brilliant, so bleak and matter of fact, and builds to an incredible finale.
Possibly my favourite film, never get sick of watching it, and as you say the way it builds up to William Munny getting back into his old ways is brilliant.
Eastwood, Hackman, Freeman and Harris all great characters.

Stumbled across The Three Kings last night on Prime. Documentary about Jock Stein, Matt Busby and Bill Shankly.
Fascinating for anyone interested in football post war through to seventies. Put tribal loyalties to one side and watch.

The latest Suicide Squad, without Harley Quinns character it would just have been a bit daft. Well it’s still daft like but she makes it eminently watchable.

El Infierno - just popped up on Netflix.

Piss take satire on Mexican drug dealers.

An honest fella, returns to a small Mexican town, after being in America for 20 yrs and finds its now run by a drug cartel and he ends up working for them.

Not laugh out loud funny, but quite subtle in the way it takes the piss out of them. Very violent, as you’d imagine.

Spanish with subs.

The Suicide Squad was a pleasant surprise given what a trainwreck the first one was. I absolutely hated the first one and was expecting to feel the same with this one, especially after seeing a few trailers. But I actually really enjoyed it. Silly, mindless fun with some good performances and some great action scenes.

I hated the first. I pre-rated this one a 1/10 from the trailer. Gave it an 8/10 as it really surprised me.

The club scene with the dancing is one of my favourite film scenes all year lol

I’ve watched a few films this week whilst off work injured.

World Trade Centre
The Impossible
Out of the Furnace
King of New York
Black Mass
The Prestige (one of my favourites all-time)
