Caught up with Between Two Worlds tonight - Juliette Binoche plays an author who poses as a temp cleaner so she can expose the terrible pay & conditions in place for those working shifts on ferries. It's very good - really well-acted and believable.

One of my favorite action movies, as it was my introduction to the genre as a kid. Still great. The manly men, the oneliners, the action and Arnold in his prime. I'd rate it right behind Predator and Starship Troopers when it comes to my favorite macho man action movies lol Oh, and Bill Duke is the meanest looking dude ever. 9/10

Just been to see Top Gun. Didn't think it could possibly out cheese the original but it passed with flying colours. Flight scenes were ace though. At least they saved a few bob on the screenwriting?

You can’t really go wrong with Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen.

McKellen plays an ageing conman, who snares the lonely, rich widow, Mirren via a dating website.

All is not as it seems and there’s some surprising levels of violence, that comes out of nowhere.

Good solid film.

On Netflix.

The Wolf Man

My favorite of the Universal Monster movies I've watched thus far. Superb performance by Lon Chaney. You just can't help but feel for his character here. Just all around a very good movie. 9/10
