I found the second one although really well made, ponderously slow.Blade Runner 2049. Still can’t decide if I prefer it to the first or not.
I like both...... Original edges it for Rutger's performance though.Blade Runner 2049. Still can’t decide if I prefer it to the first or not.
Me mate tried to get me to watch:
"The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent"
But then I sussed that Nicolas Cage was in it.
There's a line I won't cross. I mean the Wicker Man remake is tantamount to a war crime.
I'm never losing another two hours of my life to that gurning tit.......

yeah, it's a little boring to be honest. don't think i'll ever rewatch it. and it has no real characters, other than old-man Deckard the rest are two-dimensional catwalk cutouts...all very samey. Gosling is the dullest actor in Hollywood. Some pretty eye-feasting cinematography, tho'. 5/10.I found the second one although really well made, ponderously slow.
Came across as a little too pretentious for my taste, but watchable nevertheless. I much prefer the original.

The original had bags of memorable characters, all very different: with individual looks & personalities. Plus the world felt more lived-in, more real. Even the plight of the replicants felt substantial. Then there's the soundtrack...
9/10.
I wouldn’t go that far. I really like Ryan Gosling as an actor. I thought the second film excelled with cinematography, but lacked in pace. I felt they tried to draw it out too much. But it was beautifully shot.yeah, it's a little boring to be honest. don't think i'll ever rewatch it. and it has no real characters, other than old-man Deckard the rest are two-dimensional catwalk cutouts...all very samey. You're playing Nymz tune there I think. And mine?I like both...... Original edges it for Rutger's performance though.
"Joi" in the second one though.... what a beautiful woman.
