School holidays = grandads taking young family members to the pics. So..........
Thor-Love and Thunder yesterday. First thing is a worrying attraction towards Chris Hemsworth so we'll quickly move on from that.
A rip roaring adventure that keeps you engrossed for over two hours. Funny, clever with over-the top acting from Russell Crowe.
A Marvel adventure which I am rapidly becoming a fan of. Recommended for holiday viewing.

Another plus for Thor - Love and Thunder. Only went to see it as it was a rainy Sunday morning and we have Cineworld passes and the timings worked. Wife hated it though. I think your summary is spot on (apart from the man love for Chris Hemsworth lol).

Natalie Portman wasn't too shoddy BTW.

Seen this new documentary film called Eric Ravilious - Drawn to War, really good doc about an artist who did a lot of great WW2 paintings and was sadly killed on duty during the conflict.
Lots of watercolour paintings, landscapes, really good film.
I'll look out for that, love a war documentary that tells a different story than that of the battles.

Cheers.

I watched The Seven-Ups the other night, I’d not seen it before but knew of its classic car chase. The film‘s a bit of a poor man’s French Connection (Roy Schneider’s character’ similar to his role in FC) but worth a watch to anyone who like those grimy cop thrillers of the 70s.
