Last Film You Watched

Heavens mercies. besides the prodigy play out, event horizon is a compendium of schlock. What could have been. Shambles!!! (Watched it all those years ago and thought I may be wrong, I was, its worse! apart from some matrix foreshadowing, an abomination!)

Brian and Charles

A weird light hearted British comedy about a man who lives alone in Wales so he builds a robot who becomes his friend.

Typical Sunday film

Is it a "special friend" ?
Nah mate, you want 'Lars and the Real Girl'... That's a movie about a lad who befriends... Ummmm, a sex doll.

I'm not the biggest Ryan Gosling fan, but he took a good role in this film.

Nope.
Next. Nope.

The answer to whether I would watch this film again.

It's got to be tricky being a Director who's films have everyone talking. What's next? It always has to be better than the last one, and that can be a recipe for disaster. This movie has some interesting things going on, but turns out it's really nothing any more extensive than the trailers.

I was looking forward to this, and it has all the parts to make a pretty good Sci Fi Comedy Horror. What comes out though, is not unlike the random, jumbled excrement that exists within the films antagonist, and its this cross section of ideas that confuses. The motivations for the premise of the film are super blurry, they espouse one narrative direction when it doesn't make sense, everyone seems connected without explanation, and the film just wanders off into a paddock on its own pace.

And did they make the BIG mistake of Negan'ing 'Glenn' again? Sure felt like it.

Nope.

And in case anyone's wondering, the mastermind director that he's talking about is the short one:

Event Horizon - tut tut tut!

'Sphere' is a million times the film.

Sphere, the one with Dustin Hoffman?! You're having a laugh mate!

Nope.

I'm going to watch it, but that sounds a bit like Peele's other film, "Us". Good premise, starts out amazingly, but then it just sort of meanders off into nowhere once the tough job of making the concept seem feasible starts

It's a slippery slop...

Get out was amazing.

Us... Everything you said up there.

Nope... It's a very slow burner, so brace yourself.
