I don't think there is one, the director was on board for a bit but got tied up by the studio again and left em to it.
I find it a bit camp tbh, the sets are nice & nods to quake and some other stuff, can also see clearly some of what it influenced. (I dont reckon it holds a candle to alien but little does and thats probably my bias)
We need more outer space horror though, and not schlock reheated and rinsed for its last dregs. (for instance I dont want to see a bladerunner prequel 'the tales of Roy Batty' for instance - film or series)
[indelible marks left by music/film/tv/theatre etc tends to be tied to the whens and hows of your consuming them so to speak, first gig, first album that sort of stuff]
I completely agree, but as Blade Runner 2049, Dune and the new Predator film - Prey, proved, with the right director writers and a studio with bottle, you can still make proper quality follow ons.
