Really lifts the lid on the old slaving, without giving anything away, the slave masters don't come out of it very well it could be said.

Made it slightly better but it was still rubbish.

Shame, I quite enjoyed it (and the pair), not Oscar material by any stretch but decent entertainment.

Lawless

Was better than 'meh'...not great, not terrible. Set in prohibition era Virginia. Guy Pearce played his weird character well. Jessica Chastain was subtle and very sexy. Overall, the story was just enough to keep me interested. Shia Lebouf is 'meh' usually, and I thought he was slightly better than that. Tom Hardy was probably the best of the bunch...although I was quite taken by that Jessica.

Anyway...I wouldn't give it a resounding thumbs up...but if you have nothing to do for a couple of hours, you could find worse things to do.

not exactly a movie, but just rewatched some Dads Army episodes. IMO the best british comedy, that and blackadder, understated and intelligent but hilarious non the less

Just finished watching Jonny Depp's and Armie Hammer's The Lone Ranger.

Found it surprisingly ace!

Good fun, good action, good all round really.

I didn't know much of the characters previous incarnations so went in fresh but liked it.

Would recommend.

No worries mate, i just caught a preview for it the other night trawling for films and it does look like one of the best new releases coming soon
