Excellent central performance from Mia Goth though

I’ve heard good things about X, but less so about this. Think it was rushed to capitalise on X’s popularity.

Not true. Shot almost back to back. I really liked them both, but think Pearl will be more divisive.

Was just coming to post about this. I thought it was excellent!

A prequel to the movie X, which came out earlier this year (or maybe last). Interestingly, they pitched the idea for a prequel movie, while shooting X, and got the go ahead, so shot both movies almost back to back, using the existing sets etc.

But I really enjoyed it, probably in large part due to the great performance, as you mentioned.
