Last Film You Watched

They had a fantastic lineup Big in Japan, all went on to have great careers.
Yeah. Drummond, Holly Johnson and Ian Broudie were all in the line up I saw. Not that I had a clue who they were at the time. in fact, even when they were enjoying success I didn't realise they were once in BIJ. I think the gig I saw was their first ever live performance. I swear they couldn't even play their instruments Mooms. lol

Just watched Luther in the cinema. Wonderful film. Superb way of converting a hit TV series into a film, setting up for a series of films as well.

Read a while ago that Idris Elba wanted to do plenty more of Luther and then be able to pass the reigns on for someone else to carry it on. Absolutely wonderful film. Didnt lose the Luther style at all.

Bull.

This was on Film4 last night and is a low budget cracker.

Massive shades of Dead Mans Shoes, a brutal gang land enforcer ( Bull), returns after a ten year absence, looking for his son and seeking retribution on his ex gang members.

The film slowly reveals what happened to him prior to his absence, as he goes on a one man vengeance spree.

There’s a massive twist at the very end, which knits everything together.

Neil Maskell is truly frightening as Bull and this film really isn’t for the faint hearted, due to the off the scale violence.

It’ll be repeated.

Recommended.

It had an unexpected ending, that’s for sure! Violent as hell as well…
