Has anyone seen the 'The Irishman' it was one of those films you put on your list but never get around to watching.
Just wondering was it a good film or just 1 too many now in that genre of film.

Pulp Fiction was a classic for it's time.
But not having watched it for so long now, maybe that's all it was.
A classic for the period but not a title it carried beyond that.

Some films are probably best left at that first watch ( easier said than done tho )

I’ve watched it a few times recently and for me it gets better each time.

A good film, quite long. If you enjoyed Casino, Goodfellas etc, you'll enjoy this one sure enough.

The way they`ve messed around with De Niro`s face, with the CGI, to make him younger, makes it hard to take seriously too.

Luther, fallen sun.... Starts entertaining but then starts to morph into some sort of cross between saw and James bond lol luthers gritty everyman character does not fit at all in it, very odd... Also snuff online has been done so many times now and always seems so unlikely

I was distracted by the CGI and, honestly, felt like I had already seen better versions of the same story. I would rewatch Casino or Goodfellas a dozen times before thinking of going back to The Irishman.

Just watched everything everywhere ,all at once. I gave up after half an hour, it was a bag of [Poor language removed].

It was so, so bad. I made it through 40 minutes and said enough was enough

How some people dont enjoy films based on true stories is beyond me...

Lord of the Rings, Mad Max trilogy and Luther.

John Wick 1 & 2
I just love this universe. I think the first one is slightly better "storywise" as I like Keanu's motivation. From an action standpoint they two films are pretty much equal though. It's so well done. And I love the ending to the second film. Both get 8/10 from me.
