Rashomon
Love the way it's shot, the setting and the acting. Toshiro Mifune is just brilliant in every film I see him in. He's great at playing crazy. The story was just okay. 7/10

Reptile - Netflix.

Despite the great Benicio Del Torro in the lead, this is a truly dreadful film.

Other than it’s yet another moody and dark murder / corrupt detective film, I won’t bother to describe it.

Avoid at all costs.

Thought the cinematography and casting was good. The plot just sort of randomly moves from one suspect to another. It was watchable for me, not awful.

Javan. 8 unrelated dance numbers out of ten.
Indian "good cop controlled by bad people chases terrorist/activist doing bad things for good reasons" action movie. Haven't seen RRR, but from what I know this seems similar, but less throwing tigers at people craziness. Also random song and dance numbers every so often cos, you know, Indian innit?

Aye, but for a globetrotting spy thriller with a really good cast, and herself getting nekkid, it isn't half a slog.

Heart of Stone. Watchable if predictable romp. But if you're looking for something to stimulate your senses I'd probably give it a miss.

Bloody brilliant obviously. The only part that feels somewhat unnecessary is the long psychiatrist explanation at the end, but it doesn't take anything away from the movie. Truly one of the greats. That last shot of Norman. Chills. 10/10

About an alien invasion. A bit weird as there is no talking except for the odd scream, but really liked it.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Hadn't seen it, pretty good film.

If any of you have seen the series Severance - you can clearly see the art/cinema style being very similar in style between the 2, as both are directed by Stiller!

Not a great film, but I still found some enjoyment in it. 6/10
