I watched Wonka and was not expecting a musical
Any good, thinking of taking the kids over Christmas ?

1997 superb. If you can work past Spacey's reputation since. An entire cast that never misses a beat... (and in Crowe's case, beatdown)
Yeah was decent kids will definitely love it the director is the same one who did PaddingtonAny good, thinking of taking the kids over Christmas ?

I still enjoy the Naked Gun movies, so watching Spacey in one of the best movies of that era is no problem.View attachment 238728

One of the first five DVDs I bought when I purchased a DVD player. Spectacular period piece released in a decade loaded with great movies. One of the best ensemble casts ever assembled.View attachment 238728

DarkMan, a sort of B-Movie comic book affair with a bigger budget and starring Liam Neeson. I had seen it years ago when it first came out but fancied watching it again, some funny bits like this
Just came on to tell people to get involved and you’ve beaten me to it Rita.View attachment 238865

I enjoyed it, had to watch it over 2 nights though, 3 hours 28 minutes longKillers of the Flower Moon.
I had read the book by David Gran so I was familiar with the story and was excited to see this as I'm a big fan of Scorcese, but this one just didn't do it for me. I thought the pacing was fine especially for a 3 plus hour movie, but it just felt kind of sloppy if that makes sense. I still recommend it but definitely not one of my favorite Scorcese films.
