Watching Prometheus , as a prequel to Alien it does the job.

Fantastic cast & well put together by Ridley Scott.
Just a pity we don't get to see Idris Elba give Charlize Theron a good rodgering.
Thought it was miles off. Wasn't my vision of a prequel. Missed the claustrophobia of the original. To many characters to get to know and be arsed about. Also doesn't line up with covenant. How did the bot know? Does he have a prequel to the prequel thought out? Such a waste. Still watch it, but not able to take to it.

The ending where Elba rams the Engineers spaceship just ties it in with Alien where they first explore the downed ship.

That's all was needed as a prequel tbh.

Still a good watch I'm enjoying this.

Christ knows
Maybe it was stored in his computer mind , he is an robot after all so nothing is logical.
The scene where the Engineers run right through him ?

He plays David very well too.
I agree he steals the lot. How on an exploratory mission has Guy Pearce come along on a wild goose chase? How did he know? Bloody long way to go for eternal youth.
If he can create skin jobs a plenty, why bother taking humans at all? It's all over the show.

Haha

Tbh it's the very question we all asked in our early teens , Why are we here ? Who made us ? For what purpose? Are we an experiment from the God's?
Think it covers it pretty well.
